For those of you who don't know, I am living in St Andrews, Scotland. Tonight, Tim and I decided to take a walk around the city and ended up at the North Sea. (St Andrews sits on the sea.) I didn't have my camera with me, so I took pictures with my cell phone. I think they turned out pretty nice. I even did a video of the waves crashing. It was beautiful... No wind and the sky was sunny. The longest day is over, but it still doesn't get fully dark at nights. I wish it were a little warmer, but I will take what sun I can get!
The crash of the sea!
Lately there have been TONS of jellyfish washed up along the shore. Today, I did my part and used a rock to save on of them. I pushed it into a small tide pool, which eventually filled with water and the little thing was pushed back to sea. I felt good about it. I wanted to save more, but Tim (who has lived in Hawaii and been stung by a Portuguese Man o' War and I guess it HURTS!!) told me that I shouldn't save them because they sting and because they eat the food that the fish eat. I just think he has something against Jellyfish. I think they are fascinating.

Hi Amy! I just found your site! The photos you took on your phone turned out great! Josh and I went to England and Scotland this year in February. He went on his mission to Leeds England, and so for our 10 year anniversary, we decided to go back. We spent 1 day in Scotland, and by far it was our favorite of the whole trip. In another 10 years we want to go Ireland and Scotland. You are so lucky to live there! Scotland has such nice people and is so beautiful! We only saw the southern tip: we spent the night in Dumfries, saw an old golf course, and toured the Caerlaverock Castle. LOVED every minute of Scotland!
I am glad you are still playing basketball. You rocked! You could always catch my passes and score. I would love to see a jellyfish in person too. How cool. I am proud of you for saving it!
