The Front view of Blackness Castle

View from the sea side. From the castle, you walked over a drawbridge onto this "plank". At the end of it, you could see down the Firth and see the old rail bridge and the car bridge very clearly!

This is the doorway to the outer wall, and the next picture is while I am walking along the outer wall.


I probably climbed over 500 of stairs like these today! Whew!!

Castles are so cool... Great pictures, perhaps we could create one in Tremonton to keep those damn Garlanders out.
You are so lucky to get to see all of this cool stuff. I would love to come on your excellent adventures.
